I have been enthusiastically involved in decorating rooms, spaces and homes in London for over 20 years. I have, through trial and error, built up an extensive network of talented artisans and craftspeople who can work to make your home uniquely yours. Rather than rushing in and “finishing” a job using widely available standard stock furniture, I prefer to put the right bones in place and deliberately leave some areas unfilled until something truly special can be found. I firmly believe a charming home is one that takes time to evolve and isn’t decorated in a day.
I am also a decorative antiques dealer selling twice a year at the Little Chelsea Fair in the Chelsea Town Hall, London. I am always on the hunt for interesting, quirky objects, mirrors and furniture to use in my projects. Antiques are at the heart of my interiors; their authentic patina makes all spaces timeless and charming, and they give off a palpable ambiance of their own. Combining them with more modern pieces creates the visual excitement and surprise that I am always striving to create.
My entre into interiors began with a specialist soft furnishing workroom in Los Angeles where I designed and measured for a very wide range of window treatments as well as bedding and all sorts of cushions. We made things for many Hollywood stars with exacting standards which was a challenge but a good one. The workshop turned out pieces of top quality in a huge range of styles.
